Advanced Driver Training
Press Release
Massquotes Recommends In Control Advanced Driver Training (ADT).

LYNNFIELD,
MA
(February 14, 2007 St. Valentine's Day)-Massachusetts Auto Insurance rates
are too high. Part of the reason for this is the startling number of new
drivers that get into catastrophic auto accidents.
Driving accidents are the #1 killer of
teens in the
United States.
The rest of the top ten killers (#2 - #10) combined don't kill as many
teens.
"Parents live in fear that their child
will be involved in a horrible car crash. And they should be scared -
driving a car is the most dangerous activity a teenager will undertake. When
parents give their kids the keys to the car, they are willingly putting them
in mortal danger for the first time", said Ian M. Wallis, CEO, In Control ADT.
In Control's Advanced Driver Training program is designed to significantly
reduce the risks associated with being a new driver. This program will
reduce the possibility of young drivers being involved in a serious accident
involving loss of life, serious injuries, and/or property damage. By taking
the class drivers significantly improve their ability to recognize dangerous
situations, understand limitations and handle their vehicle in an emergency
situation.
Research has revealed that advanced
driver training programs reduce the number of crashes among new drivers by
more than 70%! Studies show that 43% of new drivers are involved in
automobile accidents their first year driving, and 37% have accidents in
their second year. There are approximately 47,000 teen crashes in
Massachusetts every year.
In Control ADT offers a unique half-day
hands-on course developed by professionally trained racecar drivers who also
train police, firefighters, EMT's and other emergency response drivers.
Drivers learn such things as: how to
control skids, how to effectively use ABS brakes, dangers of tailgating,
problems with backing up, how to manage emergency lane changes, and the
effects if speed on driving control.
In Control offers Advanced Driver
Training at state of the art facilities in
Weymouth and new, satellite
locations. They provide students with 4 ½ hours of instruction and
one-on-one training where the students get behind the wheel and practice
until they master each skill.
In an effort to reduce the number
of catastrophic accidents, Massquotes encourages drivers, especially new
drivers, to take In Control ADT. In Control offers a 10% discount to
Massquotes.com visitors. The present cost of Advanced Driver Training is
$299 per student, with additional family members costing $200. In Control
also offers discounts for various groups signing up for the course.
